Modern farmhouse with large windows and a covered stone porch

Coverage

Frames warranted for life. Glass warranted for ten years.

Our window and door systems carry manufacturer warranties on frames, glass, and hardware. Here's what each covers, and what to do if something goes wrong.

What's covered

Coverage by component

Different components are covered by different manufacturers. The table below shows who warrants what, so you know where to look if you ever need to make a claim.

Vinyl frames

Lifetime limited warranty

Our vinyl window systems carry a lifetime limited warranty from the manufacturer. The vinyl compound is engineered to resist rust, cracking, warping, peeling, blistering, and corrosion.

Provided by

Manufacturer warranty on the frame extrusion

Insulated glass

10-year coverage

Insulated glass units are covered for 10 years against seal failure. Low-E coatings and argon gas fill are part of the sealed unit, so a failed seal is what this coverage addresses.

Provided by

Manufacturer warranty on the sealed glass unit

Hardware

Roto limited warranty

Window and door hardware — handles, hinges, cranks, and locking mechanisms — is covered against material defects in workmanship and manufacturing under normal use and service conditions.

Provided by

Roto limited warranty

European systems

REHAU warranty

European tilt & turn and turn-only systems built on REHAU profiles are covered against manufacturing defects in the vinyl extrusions, hardware, handles, and related components.

Provided by

REHAU manufacturer warranty

American window line

Limited lifetime warranty

Our American window line is backed by the profile manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty, using vinyl technology engineered to resist fading, cracking, peeling, and corrosion.

Provided by

Profile manufacturer warranty

Installation

Who installs it matters as much as what you buy

A manufacturer warranty covers the product. It doesn't cover a unit that was set out of square, under-sealed, or flashed incorrectly. That's why the same crew measures, delivers, and installs — leaving one party accountable for the finished result.

  • Measured at the wall before ordering
  • Hung, sealed, and trimmed by our crew
  • No subcontractor hand-offs
  • Walkthrough before we call the job done

Making a claim

If something isn't right, tell us

Start with us rather than the manufacturer. We supplied and installed the product, so we can identify the component involved and route the claim correctly.

01

Call or message us

Describe what's happening and, if you can, send a photo. Note roughly when the installation was completed.

02

We identify the component

We work out whether it's a frame, sealed unit, or hardware issue — each is covered by a different warranty.

03

We handle the claim

We file with the right manufacturer and coordinate any replacement or repair work with you.

About the specific terms

The summary above describes which manufacturer covers which component. Full terms, exclusions, and transferability are set out in each manufacturer's written warranty documents. We're happy to send you the applicable document for your product — just ask when you request a quote, or call us.
